ONE-STAR MICHELIN CHEF, BAPTISTE FOURNIER VISITS MEZZE BISTRO.
Fournier, a name synonymous with wines and now food, plays guest chef at Mezze Bistro, Damansara Heights.
Come this October to Mezze Bistro, to experience the whimsical but précise style of top Chef, Baptiste Fournier who is currently helming the La Tour, a one-star Michelin restaurant in the beautiful village of Sancerre in the Loire Valley, France.
Baptiste Fournier’s cuisine is honest, fresh and surprising.
Voted as one of the top 6 young chefs in France by the famed Gault Millau guide, Baptiste took over the helm of the executive chef role from his father, Daniel at the family-owned La Tour at a young age of 29.
Baptiste trained under the watchful eyes of famed chefs such as Alain Passard, one of the best chefs in Paris from three-star Michelin restaurant, L’Arpege and Guy Savoy, another three-star Michelin Chef of his namesake restaurant. Baptiste has taken the food scene in Sancerre by storm with his cutting edge style and use of fresh ingredients. Without a doubt, strong connections with L’Arpege are apparent in his food.
Chef Baptiste will be visiting from 29th October till 3rd November 2011 bringing to Mezze his creative and honest cooking style. He will also host a special food and wine pairing dinner with our resident sommelier, Sebastien Le Francois presenting wines from Fournier Pere et Fils on 2nd November 2011 (Wednesday).
Chef Baptise Fournier’s exclusive Ala-Carte menu for Mezze Bistro will be available daily for dinner, from 29th October till 3rd November 2011 with a special food and wine dinner night on Wednesday 2nd November 2011, 8pm, priced at RM350nett per person with wines and RM280nett per person without wines.
