Roast Pork (siew yok) at Brussels, Jaya One

I had a massive craving for char siew (BBQ pork) and wantan mee recently.
I have no idea what got into me as I’m eating clean almost everyday so I guess the body decided that it wants some porky-good fat this time.

I got stuck at Jaya One for an event yesterday and there wasn’t much option for food as it was 4pm.
I remembered that my pork burger (Link–> https://www.rebeccasaw.com/pork-burger-brussels-jaya-one/) back then wasn’t impressive but the roast pork was recommended several times by friends so I thought it is as good time as any to sample a plate.

I reckon this serving is about 500g? The price is RM22.80++.

I didn’t think too much about the price as I was very hungry. Besides, the siu yok (roast pork) wasn’t bad at all.
It wasn’t too salty nor too oily and the ratio of fat to meat was ideal for me.
It was served hot so that means it was reheated (refried probably) prior to serving. I didn’t mind that (considering that this isn’t a Chinese restaurant and roast pork isn’t exactly their signature item so it was most likely stored in the chiller until someone orders it) except for some parts that was a bit overdone and burnt.

Would I order it again?
Yes I would, if I’m stuck in Jaya One craving for pork at 4pm.
