Just earlier this morning I was at the H & M special media preview for the Spring/Summer 2013 Collection!
Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect from the stores in Jan 2013. Yes, only January 2013! I have a few pieces in mind already and I know you will too after you see these pictures! 🙂
As I was briefed briefly (pardon the pun) about the upcoming Spring/Summer collection, my eyes were already wondering around and my attention went along with it. More details will be included in this post as soon as I got back to my press release. I do know the collection emphasized on Bohemian, embossed designs and embroidery.
A simple pair of pants given character with embroidered details.
The full outfit, edgy yet totally wearable from a day look to night.
Frills and tassels are part of the key looks too.
Most times contrasting pieces makes an interesting outfit.
These piping pattern dress and leggings were one of the many pieces the invited media team loved.
I know what I want; this sexy little skirt!
And a pair of aviator shades – RM149.90 only.
I love this striking match of the patchwork brocade sculpted jacket and edgy leather skirt.
But I think I’m too short for it!
I never thought pineapples as accessories could look so good! It’s a good thing it wasn’t in the common orange hue.
I favour this one for the ethic look as well as the “hand-stitched” details.
Pink oxfords never looked this sweet!
More pink, this time in practical wedges and reasonably priced at RM149.90.
For the men, dare to bold with a mixture of print and colours.
Stay safe if you must, but do allow some detailing such as embroidery on the collars and graphic prints into your wardrobe.
A hint of 1950s comes through in the essential baseball jacket, or biker’s jacket. Throw on a printed scarf to finish the look.
Key accessories such as baseball caps and straw hats gives a twist to the overall get-up.
Some refreshments for the fashionistas in attendance!
Since the Spring/Summer 2013 collection will only be out in January 2013, I hopped into the H & M store in Lot 10 to see if there’s anything that I can grab for a dose of H & M in December.
Looks like I got my eyes set on this! I like the military like structure and there are cut-outs at the arm pits for what I assume to be “ventilation”? LOL!
Anyhow the cut-out would certainly help in movement as the jacket is very fitted to the body when worn. I trust the cut-outs will combat the usual annoyance of having your jacket hike up whenever your arms goes up. It’s tiresome not to mention unsightly to keep having to pull down your jacket!
So which is your favourite piece from all of the above? 🙂
