DAY 3 Victoria, Australia: My accommodation – Waves Apartments @The Esplanade, Philip Island #BeckyinOzzie

If you think my accommodation yesterday at the Sebel Lodge rocks (post HERE), then you’re gonna love this one even more!

Waves Apartments are self-contained style accommodation offering the luxury of a personal 2-person spa in the bathroom, private balconies or patio with foreshore and bay views and luxury guest amenities.

As usual, a quick video before I hit the sack.

And some pictures for those of you who may be too lazy to watch the video!

Waves Apartments are beach front facing, though depending on your luck, some apartments may not face the beach directly.

My apartment.
I thought it was a bit weird at first  having 2 beds right besides the dining table & kitchen! Then later I found out these are extra beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped & I daresay almost anything you may need for a meal is provided.

Cooking utensils from frying pan to pots & salad turner & full set of cutleries are in the drawers. Toaster, fridge, microwave, water kettle, plates and bowls of varying sizes were all within reach in these kitchen cabinets. Everything provided would actually be sufficient for a party/family of 6-8 pax.

Even the cleaning kit is supplied.

Moving further into the unit, the washroom is on my left and the wardrobe is on my right along a short corridor separating the kitchen/dining area & the main living studio.

As promised, each Waves Apartment comes with a personal 2-person spa in the bathroom, though I wonder how this would fit 2 persons.

And bath salts are supplied too! 😉 Now all I have to do is to run the water & soak in the tub!

The enclosed shower room. Hot water is available of course.

Towels, hairdryer, etc.

Then we have come to the main living area.
I love the spaciousness & the comfortable sofas, 40″ inch plus LCD TV, Queen-sized bed & the private balcony outside of the sliding doors. Broadband connection the room is payable per usage – (AUD3.50 for 15mins, AUD8 per hour or AUD20/24 hours). Free DVDs are available at the reception for your viewing pleasure.

These are not complimentary, but the ones on the kitchen counter are (forgotten to take a pic but you can see it in the video above). Each unit is given 2 small boxes of cereal, 1 little box of Digestives, 2 slices of bread with sachets of butter, jam, peanut butter & vegemite and milk plus fruits juice in the fridge. There is no buffet breakfast or a restaurant here so breakfast would be in individual apartments.

Wish I got a bed like this at home now! 😉
