With such a lofty claim, a burger fanatic would really have to check them out right?
Now, let me make it clear. No, Burgertory doesn’t make the best burgers in town. I haven’t tried their BEEF burgers so I’ll judge that once I do. Right now myburgerlab still makes the best beef burgers (IMHO).
For PORK burgers alone, Andes at Aman Suria does a mean one, while Nambawan, a lesser known outlet yes, but serves no lesser quality pork burgers. But the pork burgers here at Burgertory sure beats the likes of Ante at Publika, Fat Boys, Sid’s Pub, Tom, Dick & Harry, The Hungry Hog, The Big Bad Wolf Bangsar and all the other pork burgers I have had so far in KL.
What Burgertory can rightfully claim is that they do serve the best range of different pork burger combinations in one outlet.
Glaring spelling and grammatically mistakes aside, Burgertory’s burgers are satisfying juicy minus the grease, very adeptly prepared, non-sodiumfied and perfectly seasoned. Some may complain that the portion is small, but hey this ain’t McDonalds quality and frankly, the patty packs a more gratifying bite!
My burger: The Pioneer – crab meat, cabbage, cheddar cheese, tobiko & pimento sauce (RM17).
The buns are made in house (not as fluffy as myburgerlab‘s but at least they retained some originality and didn’t go black 😀 ) and the fries (again not as good as myburgerlab’s) are addictive to snack on. Their homemade sauce is decent as well but tasted just a bit too thousand-islandish for me.
Each order comes in a nice long serving steel”basket”.
The current introductory offer is complimentary add-on of fries and drinks for every burger ordered (instead of having to pay RM5.00 for it) so that’s a pretty good motivational factor for new customers to drop in now. For the price and quality of the burgers, I foresee the notorious queue of myburgerlab resurfacing here soon!
Here’s another shot of my Pioneer Burger. Look at the generous amount of tobiko in my burger! The pimento sauce is nice and only very slightly spicy. Pork patty with crab meat and tobiko may be weird, but it turned out to be an acceptably tasty combination.
But I have decided on what I’ll be ordering next for my re-visit.
The Double Patty, Double Bacon burger – Bacon and Cheese Plus + (RM24)!
Look at fellow burger addict Vernon Chan go! :DD
Take-away is possible as well and I tapau-ed a Portobello Classic (RM18).
Unfortunately I didn’t get a thick, whole portobello mushroom but merely a few thick cuts. But come to think about it, I did pay almost the same price at myburgerlab which came with a whole thick mushroom but NO meat patty. So I guess I get what I pay for here. Fair enough.
One more thing I noted about the burgers are how the cheese are melted and coats the patty very uniformedly. I like that, as the whole patty is equally covered with soft cheese!
Further to that, unique house-blend seasonings are provided for additional shakes over your fries and burgers should the situation requires it. We liked the extra touch but didn’t find it necessary as the burgers were good enough on its own.
The usual order, pay, wait for your burgers and grab your own soft drinks procedure applies.
There’s a story behind the ambiance and interior but I’ll leave that to you to guess with the pictures below.
Good burgers minus the queue, I foresee myself here more often! Who’s with me?? :DD
Satisfaction guaranteed. The owners are really confident of their products huh?
Well, that’s for YOU to decide and tell them if they are right!
I have personally sampled 2 pork burgers so far so you can be assured that I’m heading this way more often next week. I’ll update you once I tried the beef and vegetarian ones as well alright? :DD

It’s pretty easy to find as it is on the same row of shoplots as RT Pastry House, Maybank, etc and it faces the highway. Look for Maybank then Guardian as it’s direct ONE FLOOR ABOVE it. It’s near a corner in the middle of the whole row.
