Well in case you haven’t, it’s here and the pictures will give you an idea of the daily buffet spread; both in terms of choice and quality.
I haven’t sampled the Ramadan spread itself in Contango, but I’m pretty assured that it won’t differ greatly from the daily spread, except of course, expectedly there will be more emphasis on Malay cuisine in addition to their Japanese, Western, Thai and Chinese offerings.
I however, was privileged to be at the preview of the Majestic Festive Banquet Dinner which starts from 24th June to 12 July.
This is a full buffet in banquet-style seating, and thus are better suited for small gatherings and cosy dinners.
The spread is dominantly Malay cuisine, focusing on generations old recipes by Chef Zaidi and his team.
Over a hundred items make up the entire buffet, though one should certainly prioritise timeless specialties like the Kambing Panggang which is marinated with Middle Eastern dry rub, the and the uncommon Pajeri Kedondong.

Live stations dishes out piping hot fried fritters and cempedak as well as fluffy rotis, skewers of satay and bowls of Mee Rebus.
I personally favour the lamb, and enjoyed the creamy Bubur Lambuk and Banana Sago Pengat.
For sweets, there is a ais kacang station, where creativity decides how you want your ais kacang to taste or look like.
Traditional kuih, fruits, pastries and crackers complete the spread.
