Proton Treats Inspira Owners to an Inspired Drive Fueled with Fun Activities and Attractive Prizes

Yea, I did deeply regretted it. I love such events. A full day out, flooring the accelerator a nice drive around the state, fun activities & a treasure hunt!
Well, I can only hope that there will be another one like this soon..

Oh, the reason I missed it? I was so exhausted, felt sick & totally knocked out on the bed! Grrrrr….

The itinerary involves 27 Proton Inspira owners taking the challenge for an Inspired Drive up to Bukit Tinggi as they took part in a treasure hunt called the “Proton Inspira Drive 2011 – Adventure Race” on 28th May 2011.

The hunt, which was fully sponsored & organized by Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, was part of Proton’s initiative towards enhancing Proton owner’s experience with the brand.
Proton Inspira owners were invited to bring their families and friends, with a limit of four to a car, and in a day of friendly competition and a lot of fun, the participants were given a fantastic opportunity to bond with their families and friends as well as getting to know other Inspira car owners.

The treasure hunters were given a series of riddles and clues where they had to search for the correct answers at a number of different locations such as Bandar Putri Puchong, Uptown Damansara, and Desi Sri Hartamas. The race concluded in Colmar Bukit Tinggi Resort where high tea was served and followed by the results presentation and prize giving ceremony.

The hunt also included a unique driving skills challenge at the Mardi Agricultural Expo Park in Serdang where the teams were shown how to make full use of the Inspira’s Ride and Handling ability as they were tested on a track, which included a slalom course, where their times was recorded.

At the end of the day, Car Number 08 (Dickson A Nathan, Ian Jon Albert & Daniel Quek Beng) took home the grand prize of RM1000.

There was also a lucky draw where other contestants were also given a chance to receive attractive gifts such as GPS Navigators, Smart Tags & Touch ‘n’ Go Cards with prepaid credit worth of RM100 and various Proton merchandise.

The Inspira Drive 2011 – Adventure Race was the first in a series of exclusive activities targeted for Proton Inspira Owners. The hunt was designed to bring together the Inspira Owners and family in a get together to encourage them to share their inspiration in life and their choice of vehicle. The event was also a setting for Proton to share its plans for future customer relationship programs with the lucky Inspira Owners.
