I believe only a few places offer pork with nasi lemak.
I had one at 6 to 10 Grill & Nasi Lemak (Aman Suria) some time back. I remembered there was one too at Ribs at Oasis (BU) but they had discontinued their nasi lemak since.
Ann’s Nasi Lemak at Imbi Market (link HERE) does not offer pork meat but only pork skin.
Brilliant Nasi Lemak at Uptown Damansara serves theirs with pork rendang.
I had visited twice since last month for my nasi lemak fix and I found it above average taste-wise but truly value for money price-wise!
The pork rendang is tasty, the sambal sweetish ( I prefer mine spicy), the anchovies and peanuts fresh but unfortunately the rice was almost bland.
Lastly, although the fried chicken wasn’t as tasty as Ali, Muthu or Ah Hock or Village Park I didn’t mind for the meat was tender and moist.
Check out their menu here:

Other meal options at Brilliant Nasi Lemak besides well, nasi lemak are wan tan mee, curry noodles, herbal chicken noodles, fish head noodles, chicken hor fun, chicken rice, various snacks and desserts.
Just like a typical kopitiam, snacks like kaya and butter toast, coffee, and eggs are available and most are acceptable in price, portion and taste.

Just yesterday I discovered another pork based nasi lemak.
Chuup at Damansara Jaya has been around for a year and though I’ve read about them on Sean’s blog, I have forgotten all about it.
I was glad that Angus, my dear friend suggested to meet here for dinner. A look at the menu got me all excited.
Chuup’s menu offers homely, delicious dishes that are reminiscent of yesteryears.
Their Asian menu is all rice, pork and noodles while the western choices are sandwiches and pasta, with either pork, chicken or seafood.
I was most thrilled to see popiah (spring rolls) and pork satay. Unfortunately it ran out that day, so I settled for a grilled pork chop and a nasi lemak instead.
The Nasi Lemak with Pork Rendang (RM14.90) was delicious.
Each loose grain of rice was fragrant and non-sticky and the sides of achar and peanuts plus anchovies were well prepared and fresh.
Sadly the sambal was not spicy. Gosh, why is it so difficult to get fiery sambal nowadays??
However, I was pleased to find about 5 -6 chunks of tender pork for the rendang; all things considered, a decent amount of meat and not all just thick gravy diguising as rendang.
The only minor gripe I had was that it was slightly salty (for me at least).
Psstt… they are celebrating their 1 year anniversary & for every 3 mains ordered, you stand a chance to receive their birthday special price of RM1 per main (min of 1 main, maximum of 6 mains).
They will have the lowest priced main(s) discounted to RM1 on your bill.
I got 2 mains for RM1 each so I saved a total of RM26.80. 🙂
Service is really good at Chuup. We were taken care of by this black guy (Not a racist comment but merely to describe him the most specific way I can think of. I personally call many blacks as friends and I think they are great people!) who is very friendly, gentle mannered and most attentive.
I’ll definitely be back soon for the siew yok (roast pork belly) sandwich, the popiah and the pork satay.
Conclusion:
Brilliant Nasi Lemak is RM11.80 for both chicken and pork rendang while the one at Chuup is RM14.90.
My pick would be Brilliant Nasi Lemak for the price. After all I will get a whole chicken thigh AND pork rendang.
I don’t eat much rice anyways, so the bland rice from Brilliant doesn’t bother me much.
