Featuring an ensemble of 7 extremely talented musicians, Oxygen makes its debut in Malaysia at Zeta Bar.
Oxygen brings the flavour and uniqueness of different beats and culture as the band is derived from talents gathered from across the globe and is set to truly redefine the term “A Breath of Fresh Air”.
Now, I’m not a band – kinda of person – me thinks live bands are for “oldies“. Hehehe… . I rather be shaking my booty to some J.Lo & Lady Gaga beats at Zouk Club anytime.
Surprisingly though, I did had a good time at the launch of Oxygen, no doubt due to stunning blend of youth and musical mastery that guarantees to get you on your feet.
At the helm of this unique group are the powerful yet sultry New Zealand-born Huinga Cossey and Vannesa Lee, while Henry Mariner’s powerful vocals and the talented Gordon Zamor on keys and back-up vocals injects an impressive palette of colours to the Oxygen sound.
Lead guitarist and native Italian Claudio Tomasello takes his unique mastery of all musical styles on the guitar to new heights and intensity. Then, there is of course the heartbeat of the group, Sherman Jones from Virginia USA, whose precision and style have some claiming he was “born behind a drum set”.
The band’s performance timing is as follows:
Mondays – Wednesdays 9.45pm to 1.45am
Thursdays 9.45pm to 2.15am
Friday – Saturdays 10.15pm to 2.15am
(Zeta Bar is closed on Sundays).
For reservations, please call +60 (3) 2264 2592 / 2696 or visit www.life.hiltonkl.com/afterhours.
Now, who wants to bring me on a date to Iketeru, followed by a booty-shaking time at Zeta Bar afterwards??
heheh, looks like a fun band! though normally i try to head to lounges early, and escape BEFORE the bands start performing 😀
Cos you can’t talk and enjoy the band at the same time right??
This band was loud too! it’s just drinks & dancing for this one! 🙂
