As some of you may know (via my twitter, FB, FB page), I’m in Shanghai now enjoying the 2-8 celsius weather!
Ok, maybe not so much the weather but nevertheless the thrill of my “inaugural” visit to Shanghai, thanks to AAX inaugural flight is keeping me warm to my toes.
Our inaugural flight took off yesterday at 19:35 from LCCT Kuala Lumpur after a lion dance performance and a quick speech cum story-telling from Mr Azran Osman-Rani, Chief Executive Officer, AirAsia X.
And as you can see, Mr Azran was in high spirits and kept us entertained with his wit and cheek. 🙂
Our flight touched down at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 00:45am today morning with a full passenger load of 377 guests from KL. Likewise the inaugural flight from Shanghai departed at 0145 this morning with over 85% passenger load to KL, showing an encouraging demand from the global city.
Shanghai is Air Asia Group 14th destination in China after Hangzhou, Beijing, Chengdu, Guilin, ShenZhen, Guangzhou, Nanning, Kunming, Wuhan, Chongqing and Xian, including HK and Macau.
