Nyonya Cuisine by Debbie Teoh @Parkroyal Hotel KL

I just got back from a sampling session at Parkroyal Hotel KL. This evening also marks my first time chatting with the respected Chef Debbie Teoh, an established and respected chef in the realm of Nyonya cooking and history.

Give me some time to pen down a detailed review of my dinner tonight, but meanwhile enjoy the pictures of the feast we had!
Debbie whipped up one of the best Ayam Pongteh I’ve eaten so far while her Hu Pio Soup (dried fish maw) was wonderfully tummy warming.
The Pais Buah Kelauk is new to me; a steamed block of buah kelauk paste which was very much an acquired taste.
Other dishes includes Nasi Ulam, Penang Perut Ikan, Gulai Kiam Hu Kut, Ayam Buah Kelauk and Kerabu Jantung Pisang.

Desserts include Kuih Bongkong, Rempah Udang and Sweet Potato Kasui. All lovingly made and very tasting authentically home-cooked.
