“Why do you need fillers??”
There goes the troubled exclamations from well-meaning friends when I told them about my fillers experience at Clique Clinic.
These well-meaning friends are unfortunately, not well-informed. Such reactions are common from those who lacked understanding about fillers and I understand their concerns.
Many shy away from fillers with the perception that is makes you “fake“.
Well my dear friends, fillers are NOT botox.
All that horrifying stories of frozen faces and nose dropping off (no thanks to Michael Jackson) are so passé.
In 2016, these incidents no longer happen.
Aesthetic medicine is at an advanced stage now and safety is of paramount concern.
That said, it is of course advisable to exercise due diligence and perform thorough research on the clinic you’ve selected to have your fillers done to ensure that it is of reputable standing.
For myself, anything aesthetic-related procedures are taken care by Dr Lim, Dr Bob and Dr Nigel of Clique Clinic.
My journey with Clique began way back during my Coolsculpting days, 4 years ago.
The results of my Coolsculpting were so positive that I’ve stuck to Clique ever since.

My latest “self-enhancement” procedure with Clique was getting Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Dermal Fillers done.
Below is the video of the procedure; all in all about an hour, 5 syringes of dermal fillers and a younger looking Rebecca Saw at the end of it all.
The procedure is simple for me as all I had to do was lie down comfortably while Dr. Lim worked his expertise with the needles.
I asked some questions along the way for my understanding and you should too if you are curious. Your doctor should be open and reassuring throughout.
This is my first time ever for a dermal filler procedure like this and I’m certain it won’t be my last.
The approximately lasting effect is about 1 and a half years, mayhap longer if coupled with a balanced diet and generally healthier lifestyle.
Since I’m athletic and I’m particular about my food intake, I’m confident that my next filler procedure would be about 2 years from now.
I required 5 syringes as Dr Lim had wanted to fill out my hollow cheeks and correct the droop around my lower mouth so this procedure was a bit lengthy. Do not be alarmed at the amount of fillers as everyone has different requirements.
In general most people would need less (probably just 1-2 syringes) as their face won’t be as angular as mine.
So why did Dr Lim use 2 different HA fillers?
And why Neauvia and Belotero?
