Decadence.. Luxurious.. Opulence and Lavish.
I have always said to NOT expect anything less than the above from any projects from the YTL Group. And that’s exactly what one can anticipate from YTL Corporation’s annual Starhill Gallery’s Midsummer Nights Feast.
A week of fabulous food & wine, paired with music & entertainment to create a convivial, festive experience that CELEBRATES life (Ok, I’m not going to argue with that!) by engaging all the senses & the intellect.
The map of all the restaurants in Starhill Gallery, KL.
In its’ third year (the first year for me! ), Executive Chef of YTL corporation and founding chef of Shook! restaurant Kevin Cape will head the festivals with Chef Johann Ong (Shook! KL), Chef Jacqueline Qiugiong of Shook! Shanghai. (pics below in the same order)
International culinary celebraties to look out for is Master Chef Massimo Martina from Italy, Chef John Burton-Race – 2 Star Michelin and host of Channel 4 “French Leave” and “Return of the Chef” and Stephen Mercer .

Stephen Mercer, winner of the Australian Golden Chef’s Hat Award by Age Good Food Guide for 6 consecutive years!
“If God is in the detail, then dining at Mercer’s is heaven” – such is an accolade awarded by a food critic to Stephen!
And so below, I would like to present to you what the super Chefs has in store for you this coming Midsummer Nights Feast @ Starhill Gallery 2010!

I like that picture of Kevin Cape. Very nice.
Haha..not by me! 🙂
oh man… looks so tempting but m kinda afraid of what the price will be!
Me too! 🙁
this r like celebrity chefs, remember seeing one of them on TV before thats for sure. yes, we want prices!
As soon as I get them!
is this the same event as Ken from foodpoi.com went? wah…very nice food cooked by the chef … like to dine in this place once a while … cause no money to dine every month here…
Hmm..not sure if he was there..
Yup, this is once in a year thing!
ahhh, a lot of interesting items on all the menus. too bad we can’t pick and match what we want from all the separate menus to make our own customized menu 😀
No worries sean, me sure ur gonna be here every night! :good:
pray that Jenn didn’t see this 😛
but then, we seldom travel downtown these days.. Jenn gets tired easily lately…
Poor Leo. If it’s not Jenn, it’s Sher ryn.
well..any adventures wil hv to wait then. Meanwhile, malls in PJ are having more choices to dine!
*Gulps* 3 weeks left only ar? Nah, gip u :rose: first. Hehehe. I echo Sean’s statement. Too bad we can’t mix and match the menus 😉
LOL! Can feed me truffle bread?? 😉
i would like to say thanks for this post… fantastic job.
Just had a food crawl in Starhill. Includes Shook. Each dish albeit limited menu and shrunken in size at RM3.60++. Comparing with these prices…but then the menu looks excellent.
Cool post! This seems to be a very informative blog. I will visit your site more often. This is really great! Well done. Thanks for sharing.,:)

Thank you, very useful. I wasnt actually a big fan of Spinach for many years ( lie, I hated the stuff), but after shacking up with a vegetarian I kind of had to get used to it, and have slowly come to absolutely love the stuff. Spinach curry is now my absolute favouritest! I recently found adedicated spinach recipes website which is my new favourite site now, you should have a look!
