Leisure Inn KL – The Preferred Business Lodge!

I’m always appreciative of budget hotels; simply cos they provide, what else.. the most cost effective method for lodging while I splurge my hard earned cash on shopping! 😉

Though I do not have high criteria for budget hotels, knowing that it is budget and all, I do expect at the very least, SAFETY & CLEANLINESS.

My accommodation in Singapore was pretty cool – Prince of  Wales Backpackers’ Hostel was clean, conveniently located & affordable.

And I was most pleased to say the same for Leisure Inn, after I viewed their rooms during the launch just days ago.

Leisure Inn KL - Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah

Located right the heart of KL, Leisure Inn on Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah (along the same row as Shaw Parade), is just behind one of Malaysia’s international landmark, the Berjaya Times Square Mall.

Inside the lobby, Ms Cherrie Wong, the proprietor of the inn, has got a travel agency scheduled to be operational soon, for the convenience of her guests.

A hotel that is more occupied with collecting the RM 100 deposit than to get actual business. went there last Saturday to check in , rate RM 127, i only got RM200 with me, as i didnt have time to change my SIN $ and Thai Bath into Ringgit..The receptionist insisted to collect RM 127 + RM 100=RM 227, i asked is there a Mini Bar in the room, she said no. I even identify myself as a Tour Guide with Identification, and ask her to accept RM 200, she would not budge, “Directive” from Management she said..Well to cut a long story short, the hotel didnt get my business, i walk further up there’s a new hotel few minutes up, Beltif Hotel, rate RM 90 Nett and RM 50 deposit only..Let this be a lesson to the Management

Rebecca, thanks for informing me regarding this comment posted on Leisure Inn.

I appreciate Santa Lucifer’s feedback and on behalf of Leisure Inn’s management, we apologise for the inconvenience caused. I agree that this will be a good case study for our management to use to improve and refine our SOPs.

I will personally look into the matter and hopefully this will not happen again.

    Much appreciated. Thank you.

I am thinking about staying at the Leisure Inn late Nov. on my way back from Langkawi. Now if I take the monorail from KL Sentral/Brickfields, do I get off at Imbi ? And from there, how easy or difficult to walk to the Inn lugging my backpack and one suitcase ?

    1. Rebecca

Hi Alex, I will get the right person to reply you on this

    2. Cherrie Wong

Hi Alex, if you take the monorail then you should definitely get off at Imbi Monorail station which is where Berjaya Times Square is located. If your backpack is not too heavy and suitcase has a extendable handle and wheels, you should be able to take a 10 minute or so walk to the hotel. Basically just walk down the small road in between Times Square and Club De Vegas then turn left at the end and the hotel is opposite a school. Do email me if you require further assistance. Cheers!
