As you may know if you’re a regular on my social sites – I’m a fitness and health freak.
I’m more of a cardio person though, which accounts for the slimness but the lack of toned, defined muscles.
So I decided to fix that recently and had since doubled my weight training sessions.
What followed from that was simple to predict – whole body aches and tightness all over!
A friend of mine Joanna commiserates and showed me how her foam roller helped her manage the post-workout soreness.
Her foam roller was the the typical foam type and after a few painful tries, I woke up the next day feeling half as bad.

This power roll is constructed in a way where the vibrations it emits can reach deep down your muscles thus is better capable of loosening deep tensions.

The step-by-step exercises are easy to follow and they are divided into different categories: activation, regeneration, strength/stability.
I also took advantage of the included exercise cards. They demonstrate the right and suitable ways of exercising with the device.
Just like any form of exercise, it is important to do it right to get the most out of it. You do not want to end up feeling even worst after, or injuring yourself do you?
The PowerRoll XT UltraSoft is also equipped with 8 levels of massage intensity that can be controlled with a button next to the power button. The vibration technology is designed to be able to enhance your blood circulation as it provides deeper penetration for muscle activation and a significant reduction in pain.
So do adjust the level accordingly and go with what you’re comfortable with.
Below, I’ve demonstrated a few simple daily exercises that I adhere to.
Medisana calls this the ‘Activation‘ exercise – the kind that can be done as soon as you open your eyes in the morning to gently wake your muscles up.
You can start with your hips. Make sure that your body is properly balanced.
Another example, this posture focuses on your buttocks. Stabilize yourself as shown and just slowly roll forward and backwards until you get the hang of it!
Alternatively, you can also try this on your back.
Regenerate your muscles and strengthen your calves/thighs with this exercise. You can do it however you want or however you are comfortable with. You can do this exercise on your sides, facing up or even facing down.
3. Strength and Stability
The power roll also enables you to work on your core body strength and stability. Just balance yourself on it and start lifting one of your arms and legs, hold the pose in the air for a few seconds before alternating. Other core exercises include planking on the power roll.
Trust me, you can do almost anything with it!
All the exercises are well explained in the DVD.
Note that the maximum exercise time with vibration should not exceed 10 mins. Anyhow, you don’t have to worry about exceeding the limit since the device will automatically switch off once it’s time!
Other than that, caring for the power roll is easy.
Just make sure to allow the device to cool down first after switching it off. Then, clean with a slightly damp sponge. Try to keep it dry at all time though.
The charging time takes about 3-4 hours and then it’s ready to be taken anywhere.
All in all, the power roll is pretty handy as you could do many exercises with it that are beneficial for your health. I recommend using it while you’re watching TV!

5. Carefully place the subsequent drop of blood onto the test strip and wait for the results.
