2 nights ago, I got invited to the launch of Bellinis & Black Velvet, a series of evenings at Estate featuring Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin and decadent desserts.
The highlight was the half-naked hunks that serves the desserts the speciality cocktails, Bellinis, a concoction of peach or raspberry puree with Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin.
I love champagne, as bubbly is always so easy to drink. The Bellini I had was both fruity and floral thus I enjoyed it immensely.
Too I didn’t get to sample the Black Velvet, a potent combo of Guinness Stout and Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin. This calls for another round!

The Estate has launched their Wednesday ladies night, where ladies enjoy a complimentary dessert buffet from 630pm onwards and weekly special cocktails. The cocktails are payable of course.
It happened on the same day as the Focus Point’s Loewe 2012 Collection launch, which also marks my first visit to the Estate at the Intermark. And thus for the same day, I got to sample the savouries for lunch and the sweets for dinner! 😀
Since it was only desserts, I had to order a pizza to starve off my hunger. We chose the meaty one (can’t remember the name), with minced lamb, cheese sausages and pepperoni, RM29.90 (or thereabouts).
It was good, thin crusted and smoky. The toppings didn’t disappoint either. I preferred this to the Caesar Pizza, which was a bit overkill with the dressing.
For the free flow desserts, there were the Red Velvet (which tasted like the one I had at Plan B – what do you expect, Estate is Ben Yong’s empire as well), mini pavlovas, truffle chocolates (as in truffle oil!), opera cake, spongy marshmallow and dainty fruits tarts, just to name a few.
Mid week need not be boring any longer. For us ladies at least. 😉
Young or old. We ladies just wanna have fun. 🙂
