The folks behind espressolab are an industrious lot.
From coffee to food and prepackaged spices, blended fruit juices and brewed drinks, they are now venturing into another pet project, labeled The Manzo Project which aims to bring quality and affordable steaks to the masses.
Australian chilled and grain fed, each serving is 300g, done to your requested doneness and served with free-flow salad.
There are seafood and fowl options too, but it’s the steaks that I’m all for.
This deal only applies for weekends, starting Fri til Sunday.
You can expect themed dinners at The Manzo Project as well.
For instance they offered a very good package deal for Valentine this year, where for RM150 (that’s like really value-for-money!), you will be served 2 soups, 2 salads, 2 mains (choice of 300 g beef OR 300g lamb OR 250 g salmon), 1 dessert platter + 2 ice blended drinks of your choice.
Soup:
Salad:
Main of steak:
Main of lamb:
Dessert: No photos unfortunately, but you get the idea!
I won’t be going into details of the food, for the deal is pretty straightforward.
It’s good meat at fair prices and cooked right too.
Sides of salad and mash are decent, the steaks and lamb (based on 2 visits) are juicy, thick, nicely seared and marinated just enough for flavour but allowing the natural flavours of the meat coming through.
Come on, it’s RM50 per platter. Where to get elsewhere? 🙂
