Celebrate Your 2020 With Algeness!

Staying young with fillers

If you have followed me for some time, you would have noticed my obsession on staying young, keeping trim and looking good.

Granted, I’m no beauty blogger, but then again, I rarely use make-up hence I don’t write about them. My go-to skincare is Clique Prescriptive; consisting of cleanser, moisturiser, exfoliating serum, sunblock, Vitamin C for anti-aging and a serum for hyperpigmentation. This set has served me well for the past 4 years.

But fillers, ah, when it comes to fillers, I’m pretty sure I’ve had enough experience that are worth sharing.

I started pretty late, about 2016 when I was in my mid 30s. It is said that one should start considering fillers in your 30s or mid-30s.
If you don’t already know, fillers are semi-permanent and a fresh filler session could shave off 2- 5 years off your face – in appearance that is.
So that means, to maintain that younger look, it is necessary to have regular filler sessions, and how regular depends on the longevity of the previous filler, and of course, your lifestyle which includes your sleeping, diet and workout habits.

Essentially, fillers could possibly make you look younger by a few years based on your current age, but no, it won’t be able to reverse aging so much that you’re back to your teenage years. Unless of course, you started as early as your teens and have had regular treatments to maintain that youthful look since.

Now that I’ve set the expectations, let me elaborate on Algeness.

Since 2016 I’ve had 2 filler treatments, and as of 2019, I was due for a refresher. My first was the common hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. My second, a more advanced next-generation collagen biostimulator.
I had a healer injection in 2018 and then, in late December 2019, was my Algeness experience.

So it has been 1 month and 2 weeks since my Algeness treatment, and I can safely write and publish this post to assure you that I’m happy with the results and had not experienced any complications. 🙂

The video below gave a low-down of my Algeness experience. Dr Lim explained the anti-aging process thoroughly from 0:30 secs onwards. For detailed account of how Algeness tackles your aging issues, do take your time to watch this. Dr Lim shared a detailed yet simple-to-understand narration about our skin, the aging process and how filler helps maintain youthfulness. 🙂

The image below was taken on the iphone, no edits and the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) claim is real.
The filler gave me instant lift and rejuvenation.

My particular areas of concerns were my deep lines at my cheeks (the nasolabial folds) and my gaunt appearance, no thanks to a recent drastic weight loss and general depression of late.

Well, I certainly look better now – cheeks plumped up, edges of my eyes lifted and a few wrinkles smoothen out. My nasolabial folds – the two skin folds that run from each side of the nose to the corners of the mouth are less pronounced now.

What is Algeness?

For those 28 years and above who are seeking for a natural, chemical-free option that produces immediate results but have fear of surgery, Algeness is the perfect choice for you. This 100% natural  treatment is supposed to last over 12 months*. Based on my experience with fillers over the past 4 years, the results generally last as long as claimed if the patient maintain a healthy lifestyle – less alcohol, enough sleep, a balanced diet and a managed stress life. And yes, stay out of the sun too!
As there was no downtime, I was good to go right after the 1 hour treatment. For some, there might be minimal irritation & inflammation so for precaution sake, I would recommend taking it easy for the next 2 days before getting back into the swing of things.

All in all, Algeness® is suitable for anyone who wants to restore youthful volume to their faces, smooth away wrinkles and to fill out their lips.

Is it painful?

All injections cause a sense of pain; however, the medical aesthetician may decide to apply anaesthetic cream to the injection site to numb the area before the procedure so worry not!

Is there any side effects?

The procedure is relatively painless. Although there may be some mild discomfort during the procedure, depending on how sensitive your skin is. There may be some redness around the site of the injection and a little swelling which might last for 1-2 days.
But is it worth it? YES, because the results are immediate and well, you do want to look younger and sport that healthy glow on your face right? 😉

What is the difference with other fillers?

Unlike all other fillers, Algeness is 100% natural and biodegradable. Algeness achieves its voluminous effects without the requirement of any added chemicals, or cross-linked agents and is completely and safely absorbed over time by the body’s natural mechanisms.

How long is the recovery time?

Treatment times vary from 20-25 minutes to a few hours or 2 days, depending on skin condition, the amount injected and individuals. But generally, patients who receiving Algeness treatments return to normal activities straight after procedure.

What are we waiting for?

Remember that bright eyes and bushy tailed look that women between the ages of 18-24 have? Unfortunately, women (and men too) begin a steep downhill descent into a vicious cycle of aging right after 25.

Filler treatments, and in this case Algeness can be a great option as an anti-aging antidote. Non-invasive, no downtime, all-natural and US FDA-approved, I’ll say go for it!

Treat yourself better and notice the difference. Algeness: Immediate and safe, mastered results.
