I’m living it up in Penang; eating, resting and indulging in my all time favourite activity – daily hikes up Pg Hill and running my rounds in Botanical Gardens.
My Penang trip is courtesy of Berjaya Air, as I was invited to experience its inaugural flight taking off from Subang Skypark just yesterday. Berjaya Air newest domestic route offers 5 daily flights, 7 days a week. Fabulous news for all of us isn’t it? Cravings for authentic Penang laksa, char kuey teow, nasi kandar, chendol and mamak mee goreng are easier than ever to satisfy now!
In conjunction with its launch, Berjaya Air is having its promotional flight from KL (Subang) – Penang and Penang – KL (Subang) from as low as RM98. This promotion is available online at www.BerjayaAir.com. As with all promos, it is advisable to book early, especially with Chinese New Year just around the corner.
Here’s an idea of what to expect flying on Berjaya Air. Our aircraft is the ATR 72 -500 which is well known for its reliability and is rated one of the most environmental friendly turboprop aircraft today.
It is a pretty short and compact aircraft, making it ideal for short flights.
I didn’t have any issues with legroom and I did appreciate the back pillow provided.
Even for short flight distances, refreshments are provided without additional charges.
Complimentary baggage allowance up to 20kg comes with your flight ticket.
And here’s Berjaya Air new home at Subang Skypark which is such a convenient location compared to LCCT.
Thank you Berjaya Air for transporting me to Penang for a short getaway and congratulations on the launch of your latest route! 🙂
I have never been to Penang! I have a friend there…maybe I will visit here within the year! 🙂
Eat eat and eat ok Rebecca!
Ohhh thanks for the heads up. All other airline fares are freaking expensive for the flight home to Pg this CNY. I hope I score a RM98 ticket!
oooo, penang. gosh, i can’t recall my last trip to the island. maybe three years ago already! 😀
Where else does this airline fly to?
Penang here I come! I’m glad I stumbled on your post!
Penang-kia here! Glad to know I have an alternative to FF & AA now for CNY trip home.
