ASIAN AUTO AmBank – Fuel Efficiency Awards 2011 Winners List
I attended this dinner just a night before my Honda Insight media trip, and it was timely indeed since both correlates fuel efficiency and cost savings.
Naturally after 2 events similarly themed events, I’m somewhat better educated when it comes to fuel savings. Driving habits aside, the make of the vehicle/engine does play a role.
I’m personally excited about hybrids now, thanks to Honda for the insightful trip but no fret if hybrids are not your thing, here’s a list of four-wheels that are kind to your wallet, the environment & stylish to boot! XD

The Volkwagen range of vehicles swept most awards that night. Amazing. ..
Kudos to our own Malaysian brand, Perodua. The Myvi has got to be our Malaysian all-time favourite car!
So which from the above would be your choice if you’re seeking a fuel efficient vehicle? :DD
Mine has to be a powerful manual one for sure!

Lexus CT200h is the most fuel efficiency car.. My choices.. wakakaka.. kidding
Hahahaah i’m aiming for that too!!
i like DSG…;)
Same! Great designs too! 🙂
ooo… Altis is very fuel efficient. I can’t believe Saga manual is that fuel efficient =_=”
Saga should be fuel efficient right? Since its manual and the cc is not high.
Why swift is not in the list? Ok lets change to GOLF GTI
err..not in the list also..hahah
You like Golf GTI? Well, technically it’s the engine that makes the difference right? So volks wins so many awards – diff models but using the same engine?
I wonder…
13km/L +- not that good compared to others. Its depend also on your driving style. The tune setting will change according to your driving style. Thats bad for me because i always press hard on the gas…
Press harder! VVrrroooooooooommmmm! HAhaha!
Golf gti use diff eng i guess. Plus the tuning is different. Just image the price is more than RM200k…even more expensive than civic type R.
Yea, Golf aint cheap but it’s a good car. No complains so far from the people I know who are actual owners
You drive a Swift. It’s fuel efficient??
Ops sorry. Standard for swift is 6.7L/100km
