Dear friends and readers, Happy Boxing Day!
How has the holidays been for you? Besides the feasting and parties with family and friends, have you been loving yourself and taking this opportunity to rejuvenate?
Well, I hope you have!
Personally I’ve been feasting too but I did kept things in check with consistent trainings and substituting certain meals with salads if I’ve had over-binge on sinful delights the day before.
The year end has got me thinking again about past successes and failures.
I won’t wallow on the failures, but one of my best achievements was that I’ve been the leanest now than I’ve ever been.
I am not entirely satisfied (but then I’ve never been contented with anything) as I felt my strength had declined as well but all in all, I’m thrilled with my new body!
In response to the positive comments that flooded in via my social channels and friends, I realized most are queries on how I did it.
Well, telling you to go through a heartbreak and then fuel yourself through rigorous training to take your mind off the pain might not work for everyone, but if you take a step at a time, if you are serious about making that change, if you are keen to inculcate a new habit, let us do it together this 2016 with Anlene Move shall we?
I’ve recently been introduced to the Anlene Move app.
Anlene’s message is “The freedom to move start with strong bones. And strong bones start with Anlene” and I concur on this one.
Regardless of age, gender and lifestyle, you need proper nutrition and you need to keep moving to maintain bone health. Bone health is crucial as it keeps your body in form.
The bones have several important functions:
• they provide support for our bodies, and the joints act as levers so that we can move around
• they protect various parts of our bodies from injury – for eg, the ribs protect the heart and lungs
• they store important minerals, such as calcium, that are used by our bodies
Most of us are creatures of habit; be it taking the same route to work or drinking a cup of coffee every morning. Anlene understands, the app is designed to ensure movement and nutrition becomes a seamless part of your day.
AnleneMove offers you a personalised habit-forming programme that allows this to happen, without you even realising it!
So here is how it is going to work:
1. Sign up on Anlene’s website (www.Anlene.com.my) or download the app (available both on iOS and Android)
2. Set your goals and choose the daily activity you want to do
The app provides nutritional tips to support your Anlene Move program.
Keep track of your personal progress by logging in your daily activity.
Invite your friends and family to join you, so you can support each other in achieving your goals. You will be surprised how much easier it would be to keep going and to stay motivated if you have like-minded and friends with similar goals.
Via the app you can redeem Anlene products with your accumulated points, which could be an additional reward for yourself.
Rewards such as free gym memberships, exercise accessories and more. There is also a hotline to call if you need motivation or support to help you get through any bumps on the way.
So, as part of my “resolution” for 2016, I’ll be starting my 21 day habit program using Anlene Move and my chosen daily activity is to do 21 variations of planks.
The thing is, I want YOU to join me in this!
I aim to perform each variation of planking for about 10 – 20 reps, but if you are just starting out, 5 – 10 reps helps too. You can perform less repetitions or otherwise just hold on to a normal plank position for as long as you can!
Follow my progress on facebook.com/RebeccaSawBlog or https://www.instagram.com/wackybecky/.
Last but not least, I have 5 “Christmas hampers” to give away! As you can see, each hamper is packed full of Anlene goodies!
All you have to do is reply this question “What is your favourite food that is made from MILK and what is your favourite physical activity” in the comment section on this post.
Eg: My favourite food made with milk is XXXX/milk bread/condensed milk/yogurt/curry/panna cotta and I love dancing/running/weights/skating.
The 5 winners will be from a random draw and announcement of winners will be on 4th of January 2016!
Good luck!
