In 2012 when I was at the HARRY POTTER (link here –> https://www.rebeccasaw.com/harry-potter-the-exhibition-artscience-museum-singapore/) The Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands I managed to hop over to the “Andy Warhol 15 Minutes Eternal” exhibition held at the Art Science Museum.
2012 was the 25th anniversary of Andy Warhol’s death and the exhibition bought the largest ever collection of Andy Warhol’s work to Asia.

I was fascinated by him as a personality, and thus I had wanted to see his works.
Since I was in town for Harry Potter, it wasn’t a hassle to get myself immersed in some Andy Warhol art.
The exhibition featured over 300 paintings, photographs, screen prints, drawings, 3-D installations and sculptures including iconic works such as “Jackie, Marilyn Monroe, Mao, Campbell’s Soup, Silver Liz, The Last Supper, and Self-Portrait“.
I had to admit that one might not be able to understand most of the exhibition (unless you are an Andy Warhol buff), but once you take time to slow down and read the caption for each exhibit, it could be an educational and fulfilling time spent.
Well, at least it was for me!

Can you imagine, he had wanted to be a TAP DANCER?
The reason why I’m posting this up now (in 2016) is to find out if there are any Andy Warhol fans here?
Because there is an Andy Warhol exhibition in KL in SEPTEMBER 2016!
Drop me a message at fb.com/RebeccaSawBlog if you are keen to know more about this KL Andy Warhol exhibition!
