Groundbreaking news : The popular Majestic Hotel Afternoon English Tea is now available in take-away boxes!
These solid 3-tiered boxes which are priced at RM160 nett each are filled with both sweet and savoury items.
The variety rotates weekly so you could order one every week if you wish.
The permanent item would be the buttery scones, complete with bottled fresh clotted cream and strawberry jam.
The construction of the box is sturdy and the cover has a magnetic closure for convenient and secure transportation.
I personally thought that the whole idea was well-thought through.
The only missing link is the delivery option, but that could easily be solved via engaging third party transportation services such as GoGet or NeonRunner.
I foresee questions such as “Are the items in this Takeaway Afternoon Tea Box similar to the one you will enjoy within the walls of Majestic Hotel itself?”
Well, yes and no.
Some items were replaced with others but all in all I reckon that the pastries in the box would feed 3 pax (normal appetites) comfortably.
As pictured this was the set I enjoyed during my visit this week. The items in the takeaway boxes were different.
