In continuation of my day at the monumental Singapore Sports Hub, we proceeded with high anticipation to the much lauded Racquet Club.
The Racquet Club, the official hospitality program of the WTA Finals is the premier client engagement platform for networking, fine dine & wine.
Once that is done, proceed to soak up the thrilling tennis action at the Centre Court. You might even be able to meet-and-greet with players and tennis legends, subject to players schedules and availability of course.
Price starts from SGD595/pax to corporate hospitality packages to the north of SGD8,000.
This includes VIP access to Aces Lounge, a private bar within Centre Court with free pour champagne and light snacks THROUGHOUT the match.
So yes, more bubblies and refreshments while your favourite tennis star grunts her way around the court as you cheer her on to her victory!
The ticket grants you to premium, baseline seats during tennis matches and our group was merely 4 -5 rows away from the 1st.
The unobscured view and the closeness to the players are 2 reasons such seats are worth every SGD.
It was an amazing experience watching Maria Sharapova live in a match and this was literally the highlight of my trip. Not just any player mind you, but Maria herself!
I’ve heard of her “making noises” when she plays and was perplexed as to what was all that about.
Well, I was informed that it’s the grunt (exhale of air) gives them more energy to swing and bounce around the court.
And gosh, as I watched them play, sitting barely 4 rows away from the front, I developed new found respect for tennis players.
I can feel their exertion & the force of their swings from where I was and I have to admit, it’s either the front few row of seats or don’t bother.
When I went towards the back & watched the match later in the game, though it was still a live match, the adrenaline & atmosphere was entirely different. At the back you might as well be watching the match on screen.

In between sets, guests with Racquet Club passes can leave their seats in the Centre Court and head to the Ace Lounge for light snacks, Nespresso Coffee and free flow Moet.
The Ace Lounge is fully air conditioned with a bar and equipped with large TV screens showing the exact same action in the courts for patrons, all in all offering the right atmosphere for Racquet Club VIP guests to enjoy the adrenalin-pumping action.
