Ushering in 2015. And a bit about Rebecca Saw

Hi folks!
So how has the last month of 2014 been for you?

I read this quote on Instagram (shared by a fellow Instagrammer) and I really liked it – “You have one month to finish the book of 2014. Make the last chapter a perfect one!“.
And I intend to make the most of December 2014.

It has been long year; with the usual ups and downs, more so when you run a few businesses and being in the public eye.
Sometimes I get question like ” What do you do actually?

Well, I have a simplified version HERE (About Me) if you care to read. Else in short the below is what I manage:

1. Digital Advertising.
As the founder of a digital agency (Rouge Communications), work means handling blog advertising and digital campaigns in South East Asia (SG/ID/TH/PH/Japan/Korea and even Australia markets).
Rouge Comms works with bloggers in 7 countries for regional campaigns, or just Malaysia for home campaigns.
Social platforms (eg Facebook pages) management, SEO, Google ads buys are also part of our portfolio.

2. Writer.
Besides that, I write on a freelance basis for The Malay Mail, Zafigo.com (a travel site for women by Marina Mahathir), Offpeak (one of the digital sites of ASTRO) and The World of Watches; just to name a few.
Thus, writing and copywriting jobs are welcomed so do email me if you have any!

3. My blog.
I’m a full time blogger and I support brands with advertorials, branding efforts, etc. I also travel for media trips monthly.
Some jobs/event coverage are paid, most are not.
Understandably, I prioritise paid projects.

Current sponsors/ambassadors of brands include Asus, Sony NEX, Celebrity Fitness, Western Digital, Centro Hair Salon and Clique Clinic, of which I may appear on TV or radio in support of their marketing efforts.

4. Fit Fab Kitchen.
The past few months has been a trying ground for my latest venture; Fit Fab Kitchen; a service that caters for specific meal orders such as HCG diet, Keto, Paleo, gluten-free and low-carb meals.
The kitchen team is ever researching on low carb options (bread, cakes, etc), spreads and high protein alternatives.
So far we have low sugar kaya, sinful hazelnut chocolate spread (but healthy too!) and a high fibre, low carb cauliflower crust perfect as foil for burritos, pizzas and wraps (order –> here).
An e-commerce site is in the works.

I’ve other commitments as well, such as being a distributor for GRAYNS rice cooker (a machine that eliminates starch from rice grains for lower carb rice) – more about it –> HERE and also the Thermomix, a wonder machine that does almost every possible work needed in the kitchen.

Am I doing a bit too much?
Admittedly I am. I might be un-contactable sometimes, or couldn’t spare time to keep in touch with all those I call my friends.
But true friends would understand this; each of us have our lives to live, our responsibilities to focus on and how 24 hours is never enough.
I am but a call, SMS, Whatsapp and FB chat message away. Delayed response might occur, but I will response whenever I can.

Here’s to 2015; I hope the best for myself and everyone else!
I’ve got big plans for 2015, and I’m rolling things off with a new sleek look; courtesy of my trusted stylist at Centro Hair Salon.
My stylist Celine reckons that I would benefit from a edgier, chic do.
What do you think? 🙂
