Comfortable shoes for the autumn/winter – Sanuk Stevie Women Boots

I don’t normally blog about clothing/shoes/bags cos I obviously don’t have the superb sense of style some fashion bloggers do – key word here being “some”.
For this post I’m making an exception because I’m really surprised on how the Sanuk Womens’ STEVIE fared during my 5 days of intensive walking in Korea. I usually put on my Nikes for this, but since it’s cold now, and I haven’t had a chance to wear as yet, I bought them along with me on this trip.

It helps that it is light, barely 1.5kg for both and the soft material makes packing easy. That, and the design is super chic too. The material is distressed, heavy canvas lace-up boot with custom textile tongue, frayed heel detail, and fleece lining.

It came with two color lace option and obviously I used the black ones. I love the rugged look. Additional comfort features are the edge sealed, weather bumper to prevent water intrusion. I walked for hours and didn’t feel any pain and my tootsies were nicely snug thanks to the Hidden Yoga Mat Insole and Happy U rubber outsole.

You might have read about my experience with the yoga mat slippers that has kept me feet happy for 2 years already HERE. It’s the same great technology for the Stevie boots. I don’t think I can wear any other slippers after the soft, cushiony cheer of the yoga mat Sanuk!

Here are some photos of me in my Sanuk Stevie in Seoul! The weather is about 9-16 celcius each day so far.

I’m sure you guys agree that comfortable clean shoes are crucial for any trips. Painful feet is well, a pain when you’re trying to explore and discovery a city during a holiday!
Last but not least, the Sanuk Stevie not only keeps me warm, it’s also well ventilated; ie no stinky feet at the end of the day). Good stuff. In Malaysia Sanuk is available at BratPack stores- Publika, e@Curve, Paradigm Mall & many more.
Mine was courtesy of Sanuk US and ordered through http://www.sanuk.com/ 😀

*This wonderful experience was a part of our Asian On Air itinerary during our media familiarization trip organized by KTO Malaysia and Korean Air in October 2013.
Stay tuned as I’ll update more on my trip over the next few weeks.

They don’t stock boots here in Msia outlets unfortunately. Guess you’ll have to order (like you did) or buy during your holidays aboard.

So comfy? I always buy Crocs but perhaps I should think of Sanuk. The slippers are good as well?

Very good blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like
Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out
there that I’m completely confused .. Any recommendations?
    Thank you!
