How many of you have been to BEST WESTERN PREMIER Dua Sentral?
Yes it is a hotel near KL Sentral, but do not be mistaken that it is directly where KL Sentral is. Here’s a map and an image of BEST WESTERN PREMIER Dua Sentral for your reference.
Though it was opened for about 2 years now, it was my first footstep into BEST WESTERN PREMIER Dua Sentral just last week. I had a good buka puasa session at Kembali Kitchen, BEST WESTERN PREMIER Dua Sentral’s coffee house with a whole lamb at my disposal and serenaded by a live ‘ghazal’ performance by Arawsa Band.
Having had no prior dining experiences here I certainly didn’t know what to expect. The spread was crafted by Executive Chef Jaffery Othman and his brigade of chefs and it was honestly a small spread for the price advertised.
It was very good that they offer a whole roasted lamb daily as well as unlimited seafood (fish, sotong) at the live grill. At the noodles section there was a chioce of Mee Bandung with seafood or pasta. I went for pasta and chose Carbonara instead of marinara.
As expected there are the salads, local appetisers, satay (which was very meaty and nicely marinated!) and soups. The oxtail soup was tummy warming and one of the better options on the buffet spread.
Kembali Kitchen’s buka puasa buffet is mainly traditional and local fare but with a splattering of western such as pasta and Japanese rolls. All together there was about over 60 sumptuous dishes to feast on and one of the more memorable station was the Turkish ice cream.
4 rotation menus featuring a repertoire of traditional favourites and home-recipes such as Roasted Whole Lamb, ‘Sup Tulang Rawan Dengan Kentang,’ ‘Daging Rendang Tok Perak,’ Stir-Fried Mixed Vegetables with Oyster Sauce, ‘Udang Galah Lemak Cilipadi Dengan Nenas,’ ‘Kambing Rusuk Kicap Berempah Hitam Manis, ‘Ikan Bakar Berkuah Mentega,’ ‘Candawan Tumis Dengan Sayur Hijau,’ and lots more await diners.
After all the savouries, sweeten your palate with the western cakes and local kuih.
For liquid salvation, there’s the popular ais kacang as well as a number of cold and hot beverages.
But do remember to sample the Turkish ice cream!
Cookies and Cream, Mango and Chocolate.
Located on the 1st floor of the hotel, Kembali Kitchen is a chic, contemporary and warm coffee house. Daily breakfast and dinner buffets are served here. For the convenience of our Muslim guests, the hotel also has prayer rooms for diners to perform the Maghrib prayer.
Kembali Kitchen ‘buka puasa’ menu starts from 9 July 2013 to 8 August 2013 from 7.00 pm to 10.30 pm. Prices are RM 98.00 nett (adult) and RM 49.00 nett (child).
ooo, not too bad, i’d definitely wanna save some stomach space for the ice cream 😀
For the Turkish ice cream yes! 🙂
Oh, I won’t even know how to get there! No, not even with the map.
Have you tried the other restaurants?
Lamb. Lamb. Lamb. That would be all that matters to me.
LOL. For RM98, have the whole lamb! 😛
Yang paling sedap tentu la kambing panggang! 🙂
My favourite too Siti! 🙂
