After chowing through numerous buffets lately with mind-boggling selections, I realized that while variety is good, Malaysian diners’ favourites remained at a few sections; mostly Japanese, roasted meats & then probably the section of Western cuisine. Italian (pasta & pizzas specifically) is another good bet. At the end of it all, delectable & gorgeous desserts rounded up the meal nicely.

And the best thing is? All of that was precisely what was offered at The Mill.

I walked in, and saw all my favourites – starting with the LAMB!!

Glistening, tender juicy slices of lamb got me salivating while I was busy clicking away with my camera. It tasted as good as it looks, and perfect with some mint jelly.

Then the Japanese section was my next target.

I piled on thick, succulent cuts of sashimi & helped myself to bouncy prawns, shells of scallops & freshly shucked oysters.  :P

Butter fish!! Another favourite of mine.

However, crabs are not as common & the ones here were bright & looked really fresh. I think for RM88++/pax, the spread here is worth the moolah. Furthermore, throughout the month of August, any Citibank credit card holders are entitled to the ‘Buy One Get One Free’ offer.

Simple carbs but both were really tasty. I do love my fried rice & noodles, especially when it’s fried well; meaning when it’s not to greasy & is rightly seasoned.

The usual – traditional Malay kuih. I had no complains about them either. Yup, overall I was pleased with my dinner that night & certainly would highly recommend this buffet to everyone! Like I said, it’s not so much about variety here (though I thought the spread was decent for its price, even more so if you’ve bought the Buy One Free One deal) but every dish was scrumptious, seafood was fresh & even the desserts was commendable.

gosh, after reading the ramadan buffet reviews, i can’t figure out which one is the best! all the hotels seem to have done quite well this year 😀

    1. rebeccasaw

This is the best for me so far, simply cos I love the Jap section! Also their desserts fared pretty well. For Malay spread, grand dorsett & Maytower did pretty well!
