Low Carb High Fat (Ketogenic diet) : Meal Delivery in KL

I’ve been busy lately. So much so that I haven’t been able to update my blog as much as I would like to.
Lately I’ve ran out of things to blog about too. That’s not quite possible actually, but due to the lack of time I haven’t been able to put things (my mind) together to string proper sentences. Sigh.

Anyways, back to meal deliveries and bla bla bla..(last post here –> https://www.rebeccasaw.com/low-carb-high-fat-ketogenic-diet-meal-delivery-in-kl/)
There’s a lot now so I won’t go into details. FFK is now focused on HCG, low carb high protein and now.. I’m wondering. Shall we start to prepare ketogenic diets?
Is there a demand?

Well, I have a very active group on LCHF diet but I don’t think following a LCHF diet is tough considering how fattening food is easy to find around us.
Fried food, fatty roast meats, curries, bacon. Food that are high in fat are everywhere!

For those of you who’s looking into LCHF diet, here’s a few things you should know:

I found this very useful infographic from (http://www.ruled.me/ketogenic-diet-low-carb-cheat-sheet/) that’s too good to not to share.

You will realize that though it may be simple to be on ketogenic, you would need to do your research and understand your body needs.
It is too easy to fall into the trap of consuming carbs, sugar and a whole load of junk because you didn’t know better.
In fact, keto done wrong would actually make you put on weight (especially if you are dining out) not to mention the havoc it may create on your health.

But this is one fascinating diet (heck, which diet ask you to eat all the fat – and as much as possible thank-you-very-much) and I’m happy to be part of this LCHF Group founded by Alex Lim (who has lost 13kg since he started LCHF) of which I’m learning a lot.

Anyone on keto diet currently?
The ketogenic diet is all about low carb, high protein food. If you’d like more info on how it works, it’s worth checking out https://www.ketogenicsupplementreviews.com. They have lots of useful advice on the topic.

Unless you cook at home, it’s not so easy to be on keto diet in a country where 95% of the food is rice (or noodles). And many dishes contain added sugar. So far I haven’t seen cheese in a restaurant. Best chance is fat meat/eggs and salad…

U’re right JJ! hence our keto meals are popular.
However, those on Keto have to be strict with their food intake and blood sugar monitoring. Many do not understand and ended up getting fatter or faced difficulties adjusting to this rather unorthodox diet.

I’m currently on keto as well, and have been for the past 2 months. It helps that I’m also a professionally trained chef, so this diet has been such a pleasure to adjust too in the Uk. But since I am based outside of Malaysia, I am quite concerned about finding for good quality fats, organic products and keto friendly foods when I go back to Malaysia. Any suggestions as to where I can find these products? Thank you! Cheers!
