Lamb Burger at SS2 Wai Sik Kai, PJ – Stall 24

I love my burgers. Problem is, good burgers doesn’t come cheap.

Ramly burgers may be wallet friendly yes, but are a no-no for me. Although I did enjoy Ana’s Green Apple burger with sambal (probably because of the novelty factor), I really detest these roadside, oily, overly processed meat + by-products patties passed off as edible burgers.

My recent discovery of an affordable, albeit small, PORK Burger in SS2 Wai Sik Kai, provided the solution to my dilemma for now. Since the stall has 3 type of burgers, I made a visit yesterday for the LAMB one.

Lamb burger with egg, RM5.80.

They are pretty consistent, for my burger looked the same as the previous one (PORK version) I had.

I’m happy to note that they remained generous on the condiments; lots of vegetables with lightly sautéed onions.

The patty is pretty standard for this stall, a wee thin but comparatively, you do get worse burgers at McDs for RM5.80 right?. The lamb patty actually tasted better than the pork’s, maybe cos this one isn’t as salty.
And that day I managed to chat with the aunty. Apparently, she & the Myanmar (less sulky this time) are mere workers & yes, she verified that the patties are indeed homemade by her “boss”.

Well, I can attest to that after sampling the lamb patty which was tender, juicy yet retaining a nice lamb-y taste.

      LOL! It’s a marketing gimmick ;p
But I guess if it’s made by the maid, as long as it is not in a factory, its homemade eh? 😉

Order more, one not enough one! ;p

Incidentally, there’s also a pretty decent lamb burger at Cheers, Jalan Batai, Damansara Heights. If you’re around the area, do swing by lemme know what you think of it. Jeremy Choy also tried it, he thinks it’s awesome.

Need the burger connoisseur’s opinion. 15+ bucks only, topped with some kinda sauce (I think paprika-based) and caramelized onions.
