International call rates to go “ Whoa! “ over!

I realized I have not posted on iTalk Whoa for a while. Remember that I posted on (HERE ) how I normally used the iTalk Whoa interface as my twitter client + email + sms + VOIP dialer?

Well, that has become such an ingrained daily routine now that it’s automatic. And so is using the phone dialer function in the iTalk Whoa portal itself whenever I need to make an international call for the company.

Yes, COMPANY. I created an account for my company on www.iTalkWhoa.com. And I got my clients to call me back on the iTalkWhoa too!

Because iTalkWhoa is a web based portal, I’m able to enjoy these same rates if I’m making the calls from anywhere in the world. Hence same for my client’s side if they so wish.

Let me give you an example. During a pitch we had with a Singapore-based company recently, I mentioned that I would be in touch not just via email but if a lengthy conversation/explanation is required, they can email me requesting for a teleconversational chat.

Naturally they thought I was joking & laughed it off. Till I showed them this.

Note: Rates are online HERE.

Cheap IDD rates using iTalk Whoa !

Wake in the morning, feeling like P. Diddy,
Grab my Nexus, I’m out the door, hitting the road running..
Before I leave, I must log on to iTalk Whoa,
‘Cause without it I aint know how to start the day… :yahoo:

Ok, fine. Corny rendition I know  ;-)
But that’s a fact..

Once awake, the laptop is on before my eyes are even wide open. *type type* in goes the password..

And ……WHAT’s ON TWITTER???

My greeting to the world!!!!

Then it’s call time to Japan!  I must say this is my favourite function to use. CHEAP maaa…

The cute pink phone icon is a shortcut to my VOIP dialer which is found in the MAIL tab. Click on it..

iTalkWhoa Phone

…and the dialer will pop up .

ready

Select the country (in my case Japan) & key in the phone number. Click the dial/hang button after that.
The cool part? No worries if you do not know the Country Code!
japan

It automatically “appears” in the number field after you choose your choice of country.

You just proceed to key in the contact number! Small things like that do make life simpler no? I mean, it’s fine if it is a number that you call everyday –like in my case – my daily call to someone in Japan (buy you an orgasmic mango cheesecake from Harith’s Samsaraa restaurant if you can guess who is it!), but what if you use it for company’s purposes as well? (Yes, it’s a smarter/CHEAPER choice!! Really cuts down the expenses!).

japan1

I do not remember every country’s code, I normally just key-in the number from the namecards.

Call rates are at 7sen/min and varies between countries. For more information on the rates, you can click here.

Generally, it is a bargain considering how much I would have to pay if I were to dial from my handphone/company line.

So, do consider iTalk WHOA!, even if it’s only for the VOIP calls. A good tip to share with your company’s management board & Finance too!

Registration ? Click iTalk WHOA.

This whole Whoa thing ahhh…

I was whoa-ed by this  :!: :!:

Looks like TM is catching up on the social media scene! And doing it in style too.
No more fudgy-dodgy image of the old TM

Look, I’m a twitter addict.  And no one can avoid emails. 2 gmail accounts and company’s email kept me busy enough. Also, I chat on gmail chat daily. To top that off, what about Facebook??

Seriously, it’s hard to keep track of all.
I find myself neglecting FB a lot in favour of Twitter. And I avoid getting a MSN account just because I seriously can’t cope with all these interactive programs. *Headache* :|

I hate it too when my laptop lags cos I have so many windows open (3 tabs for twitter, one for Home, 1 for DM and 1 for mentions of my twitter handle). Then another browser window for blog reading, and to reply comments.

Another window for work email and work related research.

And more programs (office, etc) at the same time. Are you getting a headache reading all this yet?
Well, I am. I find tweetdeck not much of a help either, since it’s only for twitter.

Hence my raving review below on iTalk Whoa. It aims to solve all that shit by INTEGRATING all of the above (and more!) into ONE INTERFACE/PORTAL.

Genius! Not bad TM, not bad at all ;-)

Sazzy interface! Cute and catchy colours, in line with the fun and interactive portal of ITalk WHOA!

WHOA!

Registration is simple!

register iTalk

Yes, You have to register as a member first. And for 1st time users, you will need to key in the passwords for all your accounts  ie: twitter, email, facebook (yahoo, gmail, hotmail) etc ONCE.

BReeeeeeeeeeeeLLIANT!

This idea is pretty neat. I’m going to be using iTalk from now on and will update on my blog from time to time on its features. Oh, did I mention that you can call via the iTalk interface? Yup, pretty reasonable rates too (perfect for a scrooge like me, ha!) for local and overseas calls.

Registration accepted here – www.iTalkwhoa.com

I have registered for the iTalk! Have you?
